GRAZIE MILLE to Mirco Pilat, to his family and to Itoman's municipality for organizing and holding, yesterday, a very nice event at the superfamous (after yesterday) Wakaranai Beach. Mirco offered us around SEVENTY pizze (plural of pizza) and we drank some hectoliter of Itarian bīru (Forst from Trentino-Alto Adige and Ichnusa from Sardinia). 9,5 Italians (9 ほんとにいたりあじん + 1 Italian-American) participated to the event (for statistics lovers: 8,5 men + 1 woman), plus many friends from Japan, U.S.A., U.K., Germany, Taiwan and even Macedonia!

Francesco Tropicalsurf made a wonderful performance with his kitesurf and finally I could play the holy frescobol with old and new friends. Francesco also played the trumpet and the stein. On the cultural side, me and Gino Goya-sensei explained the philosophical difference between Italian GNOCCHI (also gently offered by Mirco) and GNOCCA to some careful female students.

The only bad point: the damn rain unexpectedly came for 2 minutes, enough to wet all the prestigious Wakaranai Kaisha, the official flea market of the event (today I'll need to dry all the stuff). But, most important of all, yesterday has been a very rare moment when some of the few busy Italians living in Okinawa had the chance to re/meet each other and to estabilish tighter ties with the local community.

どうもありがとうございました to all the nice friends that participated and helped to hold this event! Let's do it again, if possible before a light year!
